31 Weeks

Well, 31 weeks. Not too much has changed since last week. I feel like I grow so much each night but not sure you can really tell from the pictures this week. This week has been definitely more rough when it comes to back pain, feet pain, sleep, and as of yesterday I keep getting random quick sharp pains right under my belly button. I don't think it's Braxton Hicks because I heard those feel like tightening in your belly. I have no idea what this is so I will be asking my Dr this Wednesday at my next appointment, but if anyone knows what this could be, please let me know! If it starts happening more often I might call, but it has only happened 4 or 5 times yesterday and maybe once today.

How far along? 31 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Still about 14 pounds.
Maternity clothes? Yes, and even the band on my maternity jeans is starting to bother me.
Stretch marks? Nope.
Sleep: I don't get enough! The last few nights I have been tempted to wake Josh to help push me up out of bed so I can go to the bathroom. Which he told me he wanted me to wake him if I needed anything but I would feel bad doing so, however if I get bigger I might need to.
Best moment this week: Well, like I said this week has been a rough one for me. I still love her movements, just a hard week this week.
Have you told family and friends: Yup, but not the name (Josh has picked out the first name, I have picked out the middle, but I'm still not 100% on the first name, we will see.)
Miss Anything? Being comfortable.
Movement: *NEW* She is now up in my ribs! This is new as of this week. Feels so strange!
Food cravings: Not really.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Deli Sandwiches, and as of recently some smells has been effecting me more.
Have you started to show yet: Oh yes and growing non stop.
Gender prediction: Baby Girl!
Labor Signs: Nope... hoping she stays in till her due date so we can be all ready for her!
Belly Button in or out? In... for now, not sure how long this will last.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: I have been a bit more emotional just because of feeling exhausted and uncomfortable.
Anything new? Like I said above, the random pain under my belly button and her moving up in my ribs is new as of this week.
Weekly Wisdom: Try to sleep more.
Looking forward to: Our next ultrasound on Valentine's Day, it will be the first time we have seen her since 20 weeks!

30 Weeks

Holy Cow! 30 weeks and only 10 weeks to go! I just can't believe it. Well, since last post I have had two Dr appointments. My first one I had my Glucose Test done. I didn't find the drink to be horrible, but having to down it within 5 minutes was rough! I could barely keep it down but knew I had to so I didn't have to go through it again. I got the results back and they were perfect! I also had got the Whooping Cough Vaccine which didn't hurt at first but the next day my arm was extremely sore. My next appointment was pretty uneventful. We did find out that they are actually using March 31st as the due date instead of April 1st. So maybe she will be an Easter Baby, or still a chance for an April Fools Baby. We will wait and see.

 30 Weeks

How far along? 30 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Well I'm obese now! Haha I have gained a total of 14 pounds!
Maternity clothes? Oh yeah!
Stretch marks? Nope.
Sleep: Is starting to be pretty rough. Up more often and a lot more difficult to get comfortable.
Best moment this week: I just love her little movements! Josh and I have officially felt her hiccups!
Have you told family and friends: Yup, but not the name (Josh has picked out the first name, I have picked out the middle, but I'm still not 100% on the first name, we will see.)
Miss Anything? Being comfortable. My back has been killing me.
Movement: A ton! And not so much kicks but rolling around. Looks like an alien in my tummy.
Food cravings: Nothing new. Still loving McDonald's.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Sandwiches.
Have you started to show yet: Oh yes and growing non stop.
Gender prediction: Baby Girl!
Labor Signs: Nope.
Belly Button in or out? In... for now.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, but exhausted!
Anything new? Besides my growing belly and her non stop moving... nothing much.
Weekly Wisdom: Take more naps, enjoy them while I can.
Looking forward to: Our next ultrasound on Valentine's Day, it will be the first time we have seen her since 20 weeks!

2012 and 27 Weeks

The past month feels like it has just flown by! In a few days I will be officially in my third trimester. Which makes me feel like not only the past month has flown by, but the past year! So much has happened in 2012 for this Bacon family. Some hard times, but most of all great times were made.

The beginning of 2012 had a lot of ups and downs. We had a new house which we were so blessed to have. A new house that came with a ton of new adventures for us. Some remodeling, some leaks, and little things needing to be fixed here and there. Nothing that my dear husband couldn't handle. But most of our home adventures were great memories. We also got our pup Kilo toward the beginning of the year and man has that brought some ups and downs! Kilo is such a love, but a pain in the butt when it comes to our once beautiful yard. He digs like no other! Our yard literally looks like a war zone full of mines. It has gotten better, which I hope is because he doesn't need to do it and not because there is snow on the ground. But like I said, he is a love and I wouldn't trade him for the world. I enjoy his little whimpers while he sleeps and the fact when Josh is gone he feels the need to protect me. What a great dog.

The beginning of 2012 was specially hard on us for trying for a baby. We had been trying for what seemed to be forever. We started talking about going to see a doctor and within a few months that appointment happened, along with a ton more appointments. Toward the middle of the year we found out the great news that we both were able to have children, it just hadn't been the right time for us yet. Right after that news, and with a little fertility help, those two pink lines appeared and the rest of 2012 has been the best year of our lives. With seeing our baby for the first time, hearing her heartbeat, and finding out we would be parents of a little baby girl, all brought tears to my eyes. God has really blessed us. 2012 may have been the best year of our lives, but I know 2013 will be even better as we get so close to meeting our daughter!

Pregnancy Update!

Well at the beginning of December we had our 6 month appointment. It went great and there was a few new fun things done, like measuring my growing belly. The main thing that happened at this appointment was the doctor telling us that our next appointment (which is tomorrow) marks my third trimester and starts me going in every two weeks instead of once a month. I will also take my glucose test at this appointment as well. This news shocked me. I knew it was coming, but I couldn't believe it was already to that point! And here I sit now, thinking of my appointment tomorrow and I feel so anxious. In a way I feel like, wow we get to meet our beautiful baby girl in three months, and then I feel like, oh my goodness my list of things to get done in the next three months is never ending! I just can not believe we are in the home stretch! I can't believe I have to find a pediatrician and do a birth plan, all within the next couple weeks. They say it goes by so fast, and man does it ever!

Well here are some much requested belly shots!

This was just over 25 weeks.

Just over 27 weeks. Not sure if you can tell, but I sure can!

How far along? 27 Weeks and 2 Days
Total weight gain/loss: As of my 24 week appointment I have gained a total of 4 pounds. We will see if that has changed tomorrow.
Maternity clothes? Oh yeah! I barely fit into anything pre-pregnancy and for Christmas I got a few shirts along with gift cards to Motherhood, which was greatly appreciated!
Stretch marks? Nope.
Sleep: Rolling over is getting more difficult and I wake up with my back and under my ribs very sore.
Best moment this week: Buying some new maternity shirts.
Have you told family and friends: Yup, but not the name (Which our original name is now gone, it just didn't fit. So Josh has picked out a first name, and I'm still not 100% on it but we will see.)
Miss Anything? Being comfortable =) And feeling sometimes a little left out when it comes to friends.
Movement: Oh yes! I can now tell when she is sleeping or awake. We can also see her movements on my belly, it looks like I'm twitching or I have a ball pressing on one side then moving to the other. It is crazy! She also moves a ton when she hears Josh's voice. I could not feel her all morning and the second he comes home she is all over the place.
Food cravings: Well, recent cravings are sour gummy worms, then anything I see that sounds good I will crave it until I get it.
Anything making you queasy or sick: I still can't walk into Subway, which makes me feel bad for Josh.
Have you started to show yet: Oh yes, and I'm pretty sure I grew a ton in the last week!
Gender prediction: Baby Girl!
Labor Signs: Nope.
Belly Button in or out? In... for now.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, but can get very emotional lately.
Anything new? Besides my growing belly and her non stop moving... nothing much.
Weekly Wisdom: Take more naps, enjoy them while I can.
Looking forward to: Appointment tomorrow. Hopefully the glucose test goes well!
